Lee Eddy has been in Austin doing her acting thing since 1996. She first worked with the dirigo group on bash in 'Medea Redux" for which she was awarded a B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama. Later she worked with the dirigo group on their adaptation Hedda in the role of Eilert Lovborg, which earned her an Austin Critic's Table Award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy. She's also appeared onstage in many other productions including her original one-woman production The Ladee Leroy Show, Salvage Vanguard Theater's (where she is also a company member) The Cry Pitch Carrolls, Hyde Park Theater's Something Someone Someplace Else, Hyper Jackson Chamber (Capitol City Comedy Club), Blur (HPT), Fugitive Pieces (SVT), and Desdemona (Iron Belly Muses) for which she was awarded an Austin Critic's Table award for Best Actress in a Comedy. Lee also is a member of the improv comedy troupe FatBuckle and is presently working with their spin off sketch comedy troupe Think Tank. When she's not doing theater, she can be found collapsed on her couch, mumbling incoherently to herself.
