Travis Dean is making his first appearance with the dirigo group. He’s been acting in Austin for several years appearing in several productions for Capital City Playhouse as well as The Company, Public Domain, Subterranean and others.

Travis works as a film carpenter as his day job. He also has managed to fit voice work and fight choreography in when he can, but acting is his first love. Some of his favorite roles in the past few years have been "Teach" in American Buffalo, for which he won a B. Iden Payne award, "Nicky" in Johnny on a Spot, "Stu" in Talk Radio, "Ben Jonson" in Bingo, and various characters in The Possibilities.

He is married to Melanie Dean who also is known to act a little. Travis is very honored to be part of this project and be the first to bring life to Edison.
